Jennifer Glasgow, Tech

Board President

Jenny knew animals would be an important part of her life from a very early age. She has spent the last 30+ years as a small animal vet tech caring for her four-legged friends. Jenny is also the CEO of a national medical/legal company as well as a tech founder, focusing on both canine and feline weight management. She has seen and felt first-hand the mental health struggles in the veterinary profession and is committed to helping reach out a hand on those dark days. When she’s not working, you can find her on her farm with her husband, son, 2 Border Collies, a sassy cat, chickens, and 4 spoiled rotten goats.

Gigi Tsontos, LCSW, MPA, PCC

Chief Executive Officer

Gigi Tsontos,  aka, Angelique, joined NOMV in January 2024. After studying Social Welfare Policy at the University of Kansas, Gigi spent two years in Mali West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer, returning to complete a Master of Science in Social Work at Columbia University and a second Masters in Public Administration from San Diego State University. Her career led her to work in social services, homeless services, mental health, victims’ rights, and nutrition supporting administrative roles and becoming a clinical social worker licensed in California and Kansas. Gigi lives in Kansas with her husband and 5 furry children. She sees the world as her home and has traveled extensively.

Danielle Constein

Director of Finance & Operations

Danielle’s desire to work on causes close to her heart led her to leave a career in restaurant management for the non-profit world. As the Operations Manager at Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation, Danielle served the WWII Japanese American Incarceration Site with a variety of duties from financial management to program creation to volunteer management.

In September 2020, Danielle joined NOMV, an organization that speaks to her heart. She began as the operations administrator and has moved into the role of Director of Finance & Special Projects​. Danielle, who lives less than an hour from Yellowstone National Park, is an avid adventurer with a love of the land, which she explores with her husband and their Dachshund, Bugg.

Katie Lawlor

Director of VMHS

Katie received her doctorate from the joint program between the Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. She trained at both the Stanford University Medical Center and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), neuropsychology, and human-animal interactions (HAI). Before her career in clinical psychology, Dr. Lawlor held positions with NBC News in Beijing and New York City, the U.S. Department of State in Washington DC, and the Governor’s Office of California. She holds a Master’s in economic policy from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.

Danny Rosenmund

Director of Programs & Outreach

Danny came to work at the intersections of people and animals while completing his Master’s in Historical Musicology at the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Since then, he has held a wide variety of roles at non-profit animal shelters ranging from front-line kennel work and admissions counseling to volunteer coordination and shelter management. He joined NOMV in October 2021 in part to help support the veterinary professionals that he worked with in sheltering. He is committed to helping people who love animals have the resources they need. Originally from Virginia, Danny lives in western Pennsylvania with his wife and their shelter alumni: cats Louie and Eliza, and dogs Jolene and Annabelle.

Susie Mitchell

CLEAR Blueprint Program Manager

Susie spent 12 years working as a veterinary technician, where she experienced firsthand both the rewards and challenges of the profession. Inspired to support others in the field, she went on to complete her Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) with a focus in Veterinary Social Work (VSW) at the University of Tennessee. Susie is passionate about helping veterinary professionals care for their well-being so they can thrive in their work and lives. When she’s not working, she loves cooking, camping, road trips to National Parks, and spending time with her two dogs and one cat.

Cassiopeia Lee

Programs Specialist

In the late 20th century, Cass was born on the West Coast of the United States. They graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s in community studies focusing on health justice. Cass joined NOMV in March 2023 after previously working as a public assistance caseworker. They enjoy a variety of enrichment activities such as cooking, gardening, and playing the guitar.

 

Kendall Johnson

Operations & Volunteer Specialist

Kendall has a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation from Unity Environmental University and a B.A. in Music Education from Truman State University. She joined NOMV in 2024 after previously doing environmental justice work in the nonprofit sector. As the child of two veterinarians, Kendall grew up immersed in vet med and has worked with veterinary professionals for two decades. She deeply understands the importance of mental health awareness in the field, and is a passionate advocate for improving mental health and access to resources in the veterinary community and beyond.

She currently lives on a farm just outside of Kansas City, MO with her horses, dog, cat, ball python, and chickens. In her free time, Kendall enjoys riding horses, spending time in her garden, and exploring nature.

Garrett Lloyd

Communications & Development Coordinator

Garrett Lloyd is a creative strategist with many years of experience leading communications and fundraising for non-profit organizations. He obtained bachelor’s degrees in marketing and communication from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Garrett is excited about supporting NOMV and raising awareness of mental health in the veterinary field. In his free time, Garrett enjoys playing sports, cooking, and playing with his dogs.

Debra Hamilton

Board Secretary

Debra Hamilton, principal of Hamilton Law and Mediation and Hamilton ADR North Carolina, is a 1983 graduate of Cardozo Law School and was admitted to the NY Second Department Bar in 1984. She specializes in alternative dispute resolution for animal-related conflicts within the pet service industry. A best-selling author and international speaker, she hosts the “Why Do Pets Matter” podcast and The MAAP Plan community calls. Major media outlets including The New York Times and Wall Street Journal regularly seek her expertise on animal-related mediation. She breeds and shows Irish Setters and English Cockers under the Rumraisin prefix.
