Kevin Johnson, LCDC
Kevin is the Program Coordinator and primary counselor at Positive Recovery Center’s Sugar Land office. Formerly Executive Director at our Houston residential facility in Garden Oaks, Kevin has been working in the treatment field since 2006. Kevin has held a variety of positions in the field, with the last 5 focusing on counseling and training other counselors; his prior work experience includes family intervention, relapse prevention education, and 12 step programs.
Kevin is a recovering alcoholic and addict himself and has been an active member of the recovery community since 2002. Kevin is a dynamic speaker with a sense of humor and commitment to helping others achieve long term sobriety. Kevin has a passion to help families heal together. Serving on multiple boards and committees dedicated to helping recovering addicts in his community his experience and dedication to recovery is evident.
